How Our Network Works
Who You Will Talk To
When you reach out, you are connected with an independent provider in our network. That provider runs their own business and does the work themselves or through their own crew. Ambat Walk-In Tubs makes the introduction and steps back. Hours differ from one provider to the next, so ask what suits you.
What the Provider May Ask You
Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider understand your home and your needs.
- Which service are you thinking about: a walk-in tub, a shower conversion or a walk-in shower?
- Who will use it, and do they need a seat, a wide door or grab bars?
- How big is the bathroom, and where is it in the house?
- Is the home older, with a basement, stone or block foundation, or a tight floor plan?
- When would you like to start?
Photos of the bathroom can help, but they are not required.
Questions Worth Asking a Provider
A good provider is happy to answer these.
- Can I have a written quote that lists every part of the job?
- How long will the work take, and what will be disturbed in the house?
- What licensing and insurance do you carry?
- What does the warranty cover, and who handles service later?
- How should I clean and care for it after the work is done?
- Does cold weather affect timing in my home?
You Stay in Charge
You do not have to say yes to anything. You can compare more than one quote, ask for time, or walk away. Insurance questions are fair to raise too. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your own policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
Ready to Talk to a Provider?
Start whenever you feel ready. Request a callback to check provider availability, or send a request for an estimate.
If you would rather read quotes in your own time, that works well too.
